Home-Start London Receives National Lottery Award

Home-Start London is delighted to announce that we have received an award from the National Lottery Community Fund to help fund our vital work supporting local Home-Starts in the capital so that they can support more families with young children facing their toughest times.

With funding from the National Lottery over the next four years, we will deliver a programme of support for our network of local Home-Starts that fosters collaboration and increased coordination, develops partnerships, and builds organisational skills and capacity. This aligns closely with our core mission to connect, strengthen, and champion local Home-Starts across the capital.

The support we provide will help to strengthen and safeguard the vital early years services that local Home-Starts provide to over 6,000 families in London every year. Together, we will work to make a lasting difference in communities across the city so that no parent feels alone, and every child gets the best start in life.

Jessica Greenhalf, Director of Home-Start London said: “It is such a tough time for small charities like local Home-Starts. This National Lottery award will enable us to continue our work supporting them so that they, in turn, can continue to support local families. We are very grateful to the National Lottery and the National Lottery players for their support.”
