It’s a Wrap!
As we come to the end of the year, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has stood alongside Home-Start. Across London, our network has continued to show what’s possible when we work together – learning, growing and strengthening the support we offer to families with young children at a time when it’s needed more than ever.
This year has been defined by collaboration, commitment and impact. Together, we’ve reached more families, amplified their voices, and celebrated the incredible contribution of volunteers and supporters across our network. Here are five highlights from a remarkable year:
- We supported more families and children, reaching 7,029 families including 8,102 children across our London network (2024/25).
- We proudly launched our #My2Hours volunteer campaign, celebrating the incredible impact our volunteers make. Through this and huge local efforts, there are now 923 active volunteers — a rise of 23%.
- 60 fantastic runners from 12 Home-Starts stepped up for our Lace Up for London fundraiser, raising an amazing £16,500.
- We shared five calls to action for policymakers, amplifying family voices from our Holding it Together: Money Worries & Emotional Strain research.
- Our 2024/25 Impact Report offers reflections to help guide our priorities for joint working in the year ahead.
As we close the year, we do so as a vibrant, resilient and collaborative network – one that continues to put families at the heart of everything we do.
