Home-Start London is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership project with the Community Perinatal Mental Health service in SLAM NHS Foundation Trust and Cocoon Family Support.

Funded by the Health Innovation Network South London, the Sharing Skills Improving Practice (SHIP) pilot aims to co-develop a training module to facilitate stronger working links between Home-Start and the NHS Perinatal Mental Health community teams in South London.

Above is a photograph taken at the South London Health Innovation Network Celebration Award event on 12th October at Guy’s Hospital featuring the SHIP partners.

Commenting on the event, Project lead Dr Hind Khalifeh said, “It was fantastic to learn about the other Health Innovation Network projects at the Network Celebration Award event. This funding is a great opportunity to bring voluntary sector organisations and the NHS together to benefit women and families experiencing perinatal mental health problems.”
